AccuCare Dental text messaging program
AccuCare Dental Centers, PC (“AccuCare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an SMS program for patients and prospective patients who elect to receive text messages from us. The program may include appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, rescheduling and customer-care messages, responses to requests you make, and practice updates. Promotional text messages, if offered, are sent only to people who separately provide express consent for marketing messages.
Text messages are not for emergencies. Do not text urgent medical or dental concerns, sensitive information, or protected health information. For a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care.
Your consent
You enroll only when you affirmatively opt in through an eligible AccuCare consent process, such as a clearly labeled web form, signed form, or other method that presents these terms at the time consent is requested. Consent to receive appointment or customer-care messages is separate from consent to receive promotional messages.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving care. You may decline text-message communications and contact our office by phone instead.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with AccuCare, appointments, requests, and the message preferences you choose. We do not promise a fixed number of messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent or received under your mobile plan.
How to stop messages or get help
You can manage your SMS preferences at any time using the following commands:
STOP and HELP are shown in bold here because they are the key program controls. Opting out applies to the specific SMS program or sender from which you received the message.
Message delivery
Delivery of messages depends on your carrier and device. Message delivery may be delayed or fail for reasons outside AccuCare’s control. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information, including our specific SMS non-sharing commitment, are described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our program, practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continuing to participate in the SMS program after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
